The Taiwan Textile Research Institute developed wearable products that use the output actuating elements can detect changes in force and apply force (through actuating components) to allow the obtaining of force feedback of different movement, expanding the applicability of smart fabrics with haptic feedback capabilities. IDTechEx estimates that the haptic feedback market will reach US$5 billion by 2025. The construction of basic components related to haptic feedback in the textile field and the connection between virtual and physical gear through long-distance touching and pressing are already key trends because of their applications in immersive interactive experiences and games.
