The AiryString® tapeless zipper is designed for elements to be sewn directly onto fabric by a special machine. By eliminating the zipper tapes, the AiryString® zipper offers more flexibility and weight reduction of the final product, in turn allowing for more design possibilities.
Compared to standard zippers, the AiryString® tapeless zipper produces less greenhouse gas emissions during production.
YKK will work together with customers to incorporate this unique and revolutionary zipper into their products as all parts for the zipper are supplied by YKK and require a special sewing machine.
