CoolTouch是新光合纖研發之吸濕排汗、優良快乾效果之聚酯纖維。由於不同纖維斷面設計，新一代CoolTouch纖維更兼俱特殊棉質之手感，CoolTouch Thermo更結合了中空與吸濕排汗之纖維斷面設計，因此具有吸濕快乾、輕量、保溫等機能性纖維追求之優良效果。
使用CoolTouch Thermo所開發的織物，具有柔軟舒適的手感及蓬鬆性，並通過ASTMD-1518-85保
溫值(clo)的檢測標準，有優良的保溫效果，適合用於運動、戶外類服飾等運用。由於Y型及中空斷面
之故，使纖維與纖維間具有許多間隙，進而使織物達到輕量20~25%之效果。

CoolTouch is SSFC's developed fiber with characteristics of perspiration absorbing/quick dry; it is designed with specific cross-section and including three series: "CoolTouch-I、CoolTouch-II、CoolTouch-III". Those yarns are not only with excellent quick-dry feature but also excellent hand feel.
CoolTouch Thermo is another specialty yarn with multi-functions such as perspiration absorbing, quick-dry, lightweight and warm-keeping; the textile made of this yarn gives very nice soft hand feel like fleeciness.
This yarn has passed the warm-keeping value (clo) inspection of ASTMD-1518-85; it is suitable for the applications of sportswear and outdoor wear.
