Sustainably managing our natural resources and finding alternatives of fossil fuels are both business and environmental imperatives. For the purpose of reducing the dependence on petroleum-based plastics; Shinkong has built up its new technologies to produce PET plastics from plants (Bio-MEG).
The plant-based PET is made from sugarcane-based bioethanol; its characteristic is almost the same as the conventional oil-based PET therefore it can be used as an alternative without any trouble.
