Abaca is perennial and fibers can be harvested every 3 to 8 months after an initial growth period of 2 - 3 years. Abaca requires no fertilizers and pesticides, thriving on rainwater and surrounding nutrients, also contribute to soil and water conservation.
Abaca fiber’s natural porosity and Abacell yarn’s hollow structure provide excellent deodorizing, cooling, and quick-drying properties. It also possesses natural antibacterial activity and is fully biodegradable in natural environments.
