TITAS 2018 Exhibitor introduction - JINTEX
JINTEX Corporation Ltd.
JINTEX firmly embraces eco-friendliness, waste reduction, and zero discharge of hazardous chemicals

Greenpeace International has been firmly committed to the promotion of pollution control and care of our planet for many years. The non-profit organization also advocates toxic-free production and discharge as well as protection of the environment and human health. This whirlwind of detoxification has already reached the textile industry. The toxic-free fashion concept is receiving growing attention worldwide.

ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals), a group formed by major apparel and footwear industry brands and retailers in 2011, has pledged to lead the whole industry toward the realization of zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in 2020.

JINTEX is a leading manufacturer of textile and leather specialty chemicals. The company has made dedicated efforts in the field of green chemicals for many years. Various non-toxic, green products that conform to EHS (Environmental friendly / Health / Safety) principles have been released in quick succession. JINTEX also launched the miDori® series eco-friendly biomass agents by adopting the Swiss BST (Beyond Surface Technology). The company is never slow in introducing new high-end processing aids such as odor eliminating and sterilizing agents, cool sensation agents, and mosquito repellents.

In 2014, JINTEX, getting ahead in the industry for the acquisition of bluesign certifications for over 200 products and for having over 150 level 3 products on the ZDHC GATEWAY, became the first official ZDHC member in Asia. In addition, it served as a ZDHC training and demonstration unit in the field of chemical safety control in 2016, assuming a key role in the monitoring of green textile norms.

According to U.N. surveys, 75% of the population of developed nations views eco-friendliness as a main factor in determining shopping behavior.  And environmental issues have already turned into an alternative method of trade sanctions under a global environmental consensus. To meet green consumer demands, brands must offer green products. It is therefore  necessary to maintain the development of economic activities and practice environmental protection through a more forward-looking vision. JINTEX will keep making dedicated efforts to realize the goal of “Green Chemistry”.
